Biography

Marjorie J. Beury age 77, passed away in Crestview, FL.
Marjorie was born in Smith Center, Kansas on June 19, 1933. Marjorie married John the love of her life in 1952 and they travel extensively with the Air Force. Following John’s death in 2006 Marjorie returned to Kansas and just recently moved back to her home in Crestview, to be close to him. She was extremely happy to be home once again. She will be at peace with John and be inurned in Barrancas National Cemetery.

Marjorie was an avid golfer and bridge player. She is in heaven right now playing a hand of bridge with her sisters Donna & Mig. But most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to so many. Her heart and home were always open to those in need of her wonderful grace and strength. She was always there to listen, to give advice if needed, and to simply show you love and understanding. She was a very strong independent woman who passed on this trait to all her children.

She will be truly missed, yet she will never be far away as she will remain in our hearts forever and will still always be there to listen and quietly guide us until we are able to join her. The motto that she lived by was "to live, laugh and to love often"; and this would be what she would want the rest of us to do while we remain here on earth. So please do not grieve for her, but celebrate the life she lived and the love that she bestowed opon all of us.

Marjorie was predeceased by her grandson Jonathon Ryan Beury and is survived by her children; Christine Hannan, Constance Beury, John Beury III, & Caroline Beury, Grandchildren; Jason Beury, Nicole Beury, Christopher Beury,& Autumn Beury. Sister, Ellie (John) Sparks, Brothers, Dee (Joan Dale) Hubbard and Jack Hubbard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a scholarship fund set up for her grandson Christopher Beury to be able to go on to graduate school to earn his PH.D. He lived with Marge for the last six years and has always been there for her. This was her greatest wish that he would be able to go on to graduate school after he completes his bacholers degree this year.
Any donations can be made out to "The Christopher Beury Scholarship Fund". C/O John Beury, 3500 N Rock Road, Building 800, Suite B, Wichita, KS 67226
