Biography

Kenneth Leon Wooten, age 55, of Bruce, Florida passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview. He was born September 21, 1956 in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Kenneth is survived by his father, Leon E. Wooten and wife Donna of Baker, FL; mother, Opal Godsey and husband Earl of Bruce, FL; daughter, Heather Wooten of Fort Walton Beach, FL; two sons, Dustin Wooten of Bruce, FL and Christopher Wooten of Fort Walton Beach, FL; two step-daughters, Rachael and Heather of Freeport, FL; grandson, Reace Wooten of Fort Walton Beach, FL; brother, Dewey Wooten of Freeport, FL; sister, Shannan Caputo of Baker, FL; two step-brothers, Dale Folsom of Tampa, FL and Mike Folsom of Clearwater, FL; special uncle and aunt, Billy and Faye Ward of Bruce, FL; faithful friend, Joey Wood of Red Bay, FL; and nieces and nephews, April, Lacy, Megan, Alexandria, Mackenzie, and Chase.

A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Bruce United Methodist Church beginning at 11 a.m. with Reverends Elaine Barrow and Mike McVay officiating. Flowers are being accepted, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
